The Orange Cabins

MAX OCCUPANCY: 6 guests MAX PARKING: 2 cars AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING: There are mini split A/C systems in the living area and bedrooms. The living room furnace heats the upstairs and the downstairs bedroom has its own wall heater. There are also available portable heaters in the home. No central AC. LAYOUT: Guests will access the home by climbing two sets of exterior stairs, adding to its private, secluded treehouse atmosphere nestled among the trees. The main level features soaring A-frame windows and an open-concept layout with the living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom. Step outside onto the balcony deck, where you'll find a cozy fire table and a hanging lounge chair, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or unwinding while taking in the peek-a-boo lake views. A spiral staircase leads to the loft, which features a queen bed and breathtaking forest views through the expansive A-frame windows. The lower level offers two additional bedrooms, one of which has its own private exterior entrance, along with a full bathroom and a laundry area for added convenience. KITCHEN: We provide a fully stocked kitchen which includes new designer appliances, pots & pans, and cooking essentials. We have a drip coffee maker & a Nespresso machine, along with pods and raw sugar. OUTDOOR SPACE: The front deck features a dining table for al fresco dining and a bbq, along with bbq utensils. The balcony has a small glimpse of Lake Arrowhead, a swinging chair, and a small propane fire table. FAMILY-FRIENDLY: Our home is equipped with a pack n' play and high chair for guests travelling with infants. PET-FRIENDLY: We allow up to 2 well-behaved, house-trained dogs but they MUST be listed in the reservation guest count. Please NEVER leave pets alone at the home, unless crated. Guests will be charged if any pet damages/accidents occur at the home. *Please note that our home is located in a mountain wilderness area where wildlife such as bears, coyotes, raccoons, and other native animals may occasionally be seen. For your safety, please avoid leaving food outdoors, keep pets supervised, and be mindful of your surroundings, especially during the evenings and early mornings. Please also keep doors and windows closed when not in use and ensure trash bins remain properly secured at all times to help prevent attracting wildlife. Must be 21+ years to book as per San Bernardino County regulations. *WINTER TRAVEL: Please note that during winter, a 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended you are required to carry snow tire chains with you. The mountain weather changes frequently & we want all our guests to come prepared. During snow, we clear the driveway & the entrance to the front door upon arrival. After that, we provide shovels & snow removal contacts if you need it for the duration of your stay. If you are unsure about driving in the snow, please make sure to get travel insurance.
