Mid-Century A-Frame | Private Mountain Retreat

Twin Peaks, CA, United States

Our Property

A genuine 1960s A-frame with three floors of vaulted ceilings, original timber beams, and a fireplace that anchors every evening. This is a cabin for two couples or a family of four who want actual mountain solitude — not a large group house. The architecture is the draw: there's nothing else quite like it in the area. Good to know

LAYOUT: There are two bedrooms on the main floor, along with living space and the bathroom. The second story contains the loft bedroom. *PARKING: We have 2 spots side by side, but at least one of the cars must be on the smaller side as it’s a tight squeeze. No street parking. If you need to bring additional cars beyond the two, we do have additional paid offsite parking available. BEDROOMS 1 & 2: These bedrooms are both located on the main floor, with a Queen & Full bed. LOFT BEDROOM: This loft area has a luxurious Queen bed, work desk, and reading nook with the most amazing forest views. BATHROOM: The cabin has one bathroom on the main floor which is a single vanity and shower/tub combo. KITCHEN: Our kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, a Keurig, drip coffee maker, olive oil, salt & pepper. Complimentary Keurig pods, raw sugar, & individual creamers provided. Please note: our stove/oven is a compact size & the vintage nature of it requires a lighter to start it. *We do have a wall unit for HEATING that needs to be manually lit, and we have additional space heaters in the bedrooms as well, for your convenience. PET-FRIENDLY: We allow up to 2 house-trained, well-behaved dogs as long as they are added to the reservation count. Please ensure that you bring all the supplies for them (including poop bags) and kindly clean up after them. We ask pets be kept off all furniture, but if they must come up, we ask you bring a blanket for them or use our provided pet blanket. Pets are NEVER to be left unattended at the cabin at any time, unless crated. Sorry, no cats! No washer/dryer at this cabin, but there is a local laundromat nearby. Must be 21+ years to book as per San Bernardino County regulations. *WINTER TRAVEL: Please note that during winter, you are required to carry snow tire chains with you. The mountain weather changes frequently & we want all our guests to come prepared. During snow, we clear the driveway & the entrance to the front door upon arrival. After that, we provide shovels & snow removal contacts if you need it for the duration of your stay. If you are unsure about driving in the snow, please make sure to get travel insurance.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Twin Peaks. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and welcomed. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and surrounded by nature, which made the experience incredibly peaceful and special. Everything was very clean and well prepared, and the cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from the fully equipped kitchen to the cozy living area and outdoor space. Waking up in the mountains and enjoying the quiet surroundings was truly unforgettable. This trip was very meaningful for us, and staying here made it even more special. We are so grateful for the experience and would absolutely love to come back in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Natalie’s Airbnb. She was very communicative and made the entire process smooth and easy. The place was peaceful, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed walking around the area after the snow stopped, the sunshine and scenery made it even more special. We would definitely love to come back in the future.
