Good to know

MAX OCCUPANCY is 6 guests. PARKING: We have one spot in our driveway & street parking is not permitted. We do have an offsite parking spot a couple minutes away if you need to bring more than one car, just let us know. Please note that you will have to climb a set of exterior steps to get to the front door. AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING: The home has central heating. We have a portable air-conditioning unit in the living room and one in the master bedroom. The double queen bedroom does have a ceiling fan and we also provide additional floor fans for guest comfort. BOTTOM LEVEL Enter through the front door into a welcoming bonus living area. This versatile space features a sofa bed, an arcade game, and a convenient washer and dryer. MIDDLE LEVEL The main level offers a bright, open-concept layout with a beautifully appointed living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom. OUTDOOR LIVING Step outside to enjoy several inviting spaces surrounded by the trees. Grill dinner on the propane barbecue, gather around the fire pit, or retreat to the separate front deck and unwind in the hammock beneath the stars. TOP LEVEL The upper level opens into a spacious loft-style bedroom with two queen beds, a dedicated workspace, and stunning treetop views. From the loft, a shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom leads into the private primary bedroom, furnished with a luxurious king bed. *Please note that our home is located in a mountain wilderness area where wildlife such as bears, coyotes, raccoons, and other native animals may occasionally be seen. For your safety, please avoid leaving food outdoors, keep pets supervised, and be mindful of your surroundings, especially during the evenings and early mornings. Please also keep doors and windows closed when not in use and ensure trash bins remain properly secured at all times to help prevent attracting wildlife. Must be 21+ years to book, as per San Bernardino county regulations. *WINTER TRAVEL: Please note that during winter, you are required to carry snow tire chains with you. The mountain weather changes frequently & we want all our guests to come prepared. During snow, we clear the street level Carport driveway (2 tandem parking spaces) & the entrance to the front door upon arrival. After that, we provide shovels & snow removal contacts if you need it for the duration of your stay. If you are unsure about driving in the snow, please make sure to get travel insurance.

Accessibility

Neighborhood

Wooded mountain residential neighborhood between Lake Arrowhead Village and Crestline (Twin Peaks area). Quiet, rustic vibe with pine forest, private homes and original cabin architecture. Within 5–10 minutes’ drive to Lake Arrowhead Village restaurants, shops, marinas and lakeside trails. Good for hiking, mountain biking, lake activities (note: Lake Arrowhead is private to homeowners/permit holders), and seasonal events. Limited local grocery and services in the Village and nearby Cedar Glen; larger shopping is in San Bernardino/Redlands down the hill.

Guest Access

Find Us

Most convenient by car — guests should expect winding, sometimes steep mountain roads and occasional winter chain/snow requirements. Rental cars are fine for most seasons; 4WD recommended in winter storms. Public transit: Mountain Transit (local fixed routes and off‑the‑mountain services) and occasional county shuttle services connect Lake Arrowhead to Crestline, Running Springs and San Bernardino; routes are infrequent so check schedules. Rideshare is spotty and may have limited coverage; local taxi or private shuttle services are commonly used. Nearest full‑service airports: Ontario International (closest, ~40–50 miles/approx. 45–75 min drive depending on traffic) and Los Angeles International (longer drive). The nearest major train hub is San Bernardino (Metrolink/Amtrak connections) with onward bus or car transfer up the mountain.
